Kilts are like potato chips. You can not have just one.

I am a full time kilt wearer. Every day is a kilt day. Ideal is two or three Tanks, three P/V, two very casual, and two or three contemporary type. I currently own 26 kilts, but I really only need 10. I like to have choices, so I have more than the necessary. Three of my kilts are for performing only - Band "uniform".

There is no definite number of kilts needed. I agree with what was said above, one more than you have now.

Yes, the correct number of kilts is much like the correct number of bicycles, and is found by way of the formula n***, where n is the current number of kilts you own.

I would be happy to go kilted full time, my wife and my business partner would have another thing to say. For me, I could get by ful time with say 8, no 9...no an even dozen. Oh no, I now am beginig to understand Ron's quest for kilts.! How many is Hamish up to?
