Someone else suggested the Bengal lounge for a few beverages afterwards which would let you guys walk past the Parliament buildings all lite up and have a few cocktails in a very cool lounge. http://www.fairmont.com/empress/Gues...ngalLounge.htm Somehow I think Jamie will be bringing the pith helmet for that expedition. I so wish I could be there tomorrow night! Unless I suddenly find the secret to FTL travel I'm stuck here in the other Vancouver (USA). I'll be with you all in spirit though.

Hank and Mrs. highlantide arrived on the Coho ferry at 3:30 this afternoon.
After giving them a quick tour of Freedom Kilts and an idea of what is planned for them I sent them off for a bite to eat and then to their beds as Mrs. highlandtide is pregnant and needed to get off her feet.
Plus, they are still on Eastern time so by their body clocks it is already late.

    Pics tomorrow.

Highlandtide, Steve, Panache, the Mod Squad, et al,

I wish you all the very best for the evening. I trust all will proceed smoothly. I would attend this grand event if I were able, but alas work has me cornered for the evening. I'll be certain to raise a dram to your health, and the continued success of XMarksTheScot. Keep up the good work lads, we greatly appreciate all the hard work you are doing so that the rest of us can enjoy our time together here as the clan we have grown to be.

    Best regards,
    Mitch

    Be seeing you!
