Thanks for the kind words, Bill. To all concerned, this is a fun event. It is on the smallish side but a real chance to catch up with people and even make new friends. Without a doubt the friendliest games in NC we've played. Please make room in your schedule for this one!

I suppose a better question is about how many people attend it? I've perused the webiste and it looks pretty impressive. The Baron of Cowdenknowes is the "Chief of the Games" this year. I met him a few years ago at the festival in Franklin.
Thanks for the help.
It is bigger than Mint Hill but smaller than Loch Norman. The weather has
a lot to do with the # of people.

We'll be a no-show this year. Have a wedding to go to.
Have always liked Foothills, and especially the music. You all have a great time.

Was planning to attend until the mud and rock slide shut down I-40 at TN border, coming from TN, but may drive an extra hour each way and arrive via Johnson City via I-26. If the group is planning to meet please post a time and place at the park in Hendersonville. Or we could meet in downtown at the Irish pun & Rest for lunch. Kilted Man

It's not gonna happen for me this year, lads - sorry! With the state of the economy, and my employment issues, it's just not in the cards.
I know you'll have a grand time. And if you've never seen Shawn and the lads, you're not going to be disappointed! They give a great show. You get your admission dollar's worth on their stage alone!
Have fun guys, I'll miss you guys and being there. This is the first FHHG that I've not attended.

After my first year of competition and 6 games I think I'll sit this one out.

This is indeed terrible news. Hang in there, Chris. You know the $2 room in A'ville is always open if you need to get away for awhile.

Thanks, Bill. That means a lot! I do plan to come up sometime in the semi-near future, it's just not good for this weekend.
