USAK Apology - Please Read
To All,
Recently I posted a thread about my experience with USA Kilts. Several people reading it, including the owner of USA Kilts, misinterpreted the meaning behind what I posted. This was due to a lack of writing ability by me, the author, and a failure to closely read what had been written. The mentioned thread has since been deleted upon my request. I would like to issue an apology to USA Kilts and those members that actually read the original post. I do this with knowledge that the financial relationship between myself and USA Kilts has been permanently severed. I receive no gain from doing this.
I would like to publicly apologize to Mr. Roeger and USA Kilts. After reading through my first post on the thread previously mentioned, I realize I was not fair to Mr. Roeger and USA Kilts. I did not intentionally try to mislead any of you. My intent for the thread was to show the awesome customer service of USA Kilts. I realize now that I focused too much on the negative. There was some mis-communication between me and USA Kilts that I was RESPONSIBLE for clearing up BEFORE I posted something like that. Again, my intention was not to damage the good reputation that USA kilts has earned from making high quality, custom kilts. I should have read my words more carefully and focused more on the positive things that I felt came out of the experience
Again, I am nothing but pleased with the service I have received from Mr. Roeger at USA Kilts. They are top notch kilt makers. I recommend them to anyone wanting a great kilt for a great price. They will always honor the work they have done. Trust me, I know first hand. If it were possible, I would purchase my next kilt from them.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. I did not feel honest with myself if I did not share this with Mr. Roeger, USA Kilts, and all of you.

Good on you Brice! Takes a strong consititutuion to admit you are mistaken, even stronger in a public forum like this. I will not attempt to speak for anyone other than my self, but I for one would be humbled by such an amends.
God Bless.

Brice,
I read the original post and understood that it was not your intention to trash the reputation of Rocky or USAK...you were relating your experiences and frustration.
I applaud that you requested removal of the thread, however, so as not to mislead any potential USAK customers of have them questioning whether this is a company they want to do business with. I've not yet had the pleasure but plan to do business with Mr. Roeger based on a multitude of positive recommendations from members of this forum.
I further applaud your honesty and your genuine heartfelt apology to Mr. Roeger. We're all one big family here...kilt on Brice, kilt on!

If you find yourself in a similar situation in the future, you might want to structure your post differently. What you had written was a fairly long post and it started with your negative experiences. Many people would have seen the initial negative and not finished the post (blame it on short attention spans or whatever).
A better way would have been to give a short intro. Something like "despite some initial problems, the company stood behind their service, etc." You could then go into the background and history for thsoe interested.

Brice, you have shown yourself to be a man of great character with this post. I applaud you sir!
"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon

It takes a strong man to admit when he is wrong. I admire your courage in doing so Brice.

Honestly, that was my intention. It just got away from me. But, I think I learn the most when I make mistakes. I am sure it won't happen again.

We all make mistakes - not all of us learn something valuable from them. Thank you for showing us all how its done.
