Did One of You Send Me Something?

On arriving home from America last month there was a card from the post office behind the door. The postman had tried to deliver a package which needed to be signed for, the day after I had set off for USA. I went to the post office to collect the package and was told it had been returned to the sender as it had not been collected within seven days. My local postman told me the package was a jiffy bag, he remembered calling at my house with it while I was away and then returning the item to the sorting office. I was not expecting any parcel or package, though fellow xmarkers have occasionally sent me unexpected small items. I would have thought that if the package went back to the sender four weeks ago, he/she would have contacted me by now to check if I was back home and wanted the item. Now, I am totally mystified as to who sent what to me, was it one of you sending me a kilt accessory?

Wasn't me Alex. But if anyone has anything extra they'd like to send my way I should be in town for the next month or so.

Always frustrating when that happens!

Why the Post Office assumes that nobody is away for more than seven days is a mystery.

If I am out my postman will usually leave it with the neighbours.
