I would recommend that you go with a good leather sporran--avoid the cheapies just for the sake of a few bucks. the Buzz Kidders are fine, but I personally would rather see you purchase a good quality leather day sporran in brown. (I assume that you will mostly be wearing it during daytime activities and not for very dressy evening affairs.)
The Eagleton is always a good choice as are other makers of quality sporrans. A very plain pouch type is the best. I would avoid overly ornate models or sporrans that look too much like a back pack worn backwards. They hold a lot, but you will look a bit strange. Less is more in normal dress.
If you find a good, reliable supplier like the Tartans Museum gift shop, you can choose a good quality sporran. I would strongly recommend that you try a few on in person before spending a lot money.
