    To look at things a bit differently:

    With all the emphasis on quality and genuine articles, (for example wool vs acrylic for kilts) perhaps it is time for Grant to consider a Real chicken for a sporran. A full mask rooster maybe...

    I can see it now - perhaps a black and white Barred Rock for formal wear and a Rhode Island Red for casual.
