Looks like a reasonable value for money five yard kilt, and you have a nice tartan there.
Not so sure about the white hose though.
Singh is a very common second name here in Scotland, as far as I know it is not a surname but denotes that the person is a Sikh, ie Lakhbir is a Sikh and so is Malap etc.
I had been considering getting a kilt in Isle of Skye tartan for a while so when Forrester Modern posted the link on the previous thread I decided to place an order over the internet.
I then spoke on the telephone with a gentleman at the Scotland Kilt Company the following day. The kilt was out of stock in my size and I was given an opportunity to cancel if I needed the kilt in a hurry. I asked him how Skye Isles differed from Isle of Skye and he said it is the same tartan but different retailers sell it under alternative names. I then asked if his company were connected with Gold Brothers and he said that although they have the same family name they are an independent company. He said it would take about five weeks for them to make a Skye Isles kilt in my waist size and I agreed to confirm my order and await delivery in due course. Let the jonesing begin!!
