    Another kilt hose alternative...

Found these on the Sock Dreams site. Ordered a pair in navy blue Sunday night. Got'em today. The turnover is large enough to work well with flashes, and they're comfortable. Price is good, too. They say that the socks work best on feet that are size 7.5-8.5, but they fit fine on my size 11 feet.

Sounds good. I'm envious. I have a size 15 foot, and it's difficult to find hose that fit well.

Sock dreams is fantastic. I have a pair of these... http://www.sockdreams.com/_shop/page...ductID_323.php ...and I wear them very regularly. Super comfortable, thick, and long enough for a very nice cuff. Great price too.

Sock Dreams is a rather addictive place, in my experience. Started shopping with them in early 2005. I'm not sure how many times I've ordered stuff from them since then. It's all a blur.

My niece has a couple pairs of those. Hasn't worn them recently, since my sister has switched her over to Ugg boots. Pretty much most everything I've bought from them has been well-wearing, and fits properly. A few items have been too small, so I've passed those onto my mother, who enjoys them.
