    I splashed out on a lidl kilt

    Picked up quite a good offer this morning

    8 yard 13 oz wool Mackenzie kilt
    Gillie brogues
    Belt & Buckle
    Sporran
    & Jacobite shirt

    about £80 all up not a bad deal, I'll try to post pics later

    Sounds reasonable - my friend Michael bought his McKenzie 8 yarder in the Dumfries LIDL last January and the kilt alone was £40 something which is pretty amazing for a woolen kilt.

    I wonder if we could persuade Lidl to stock a few in Torremolinos.

    At that price (wool ?! ), I'd have a few and not worry about my name.

    I have looked on the Lidl web site and could not find the highland wear. Could you please tell which of their branches you bought these from. Thanks.
