Lidl seem to do these periodically like some of their other "special offers" that they do leaflets for in store. You can register with them online and they will send you emails showing what is due to appear in your local store.

They only do the kilts in Scotland though.

I signed up for Lidl's weekly newsletter over six months ago in the hope of nabbing one of their kilts. As you sign on, you have to opt for a local store. I chose Dumfries. Although they have have told me about some wonderful things, there have been no kilts.

    Regards

    Chas

I expect January will be the best bet Chas - they have sold them at the Dumfries Lidl around Burnstide for the past two years.

I'm quite surprised that Lidl haven't cottoned on to the power of the internet in terms of Kilts. Presumably they make their money by selling stuff and there is obviously an online market for kilts outside of Scotland. Seems like they are missing a trick. Perhaps someone should email them this thread.
