Thanks guys! All the Babes' (and their bands--mine included) have been working hard to move calendars this year. There have been a bunch of joint Accordion Babe gigs since it rolled off the press in August. Whole lotta fun, and a whole lotta talent! Renee (with the pink hair on the cover above) is the instigator--my wife provided a lot of the business strategy. Renee's band is Culann's Hounds. They are a rocking celtic (Irish) band. If any of you locals are interested, we (The Mad Maggies) are playing a double bill with the Hounds on December 4th at the Sleeping Lady Cafe in Fairfax, CA. It's going to be a rocking night! (And, of course, I'll be kilted.)
When I mentioned this to my gf, thinking I was going to surprise her about a calendar dedicated to her fellow Accordian Babes... but nooo... she already knew about! And said it would make a lovely present. So it looks like I'll be ordering at least one for her, and apparently one for Arlen
If we can wing it, we'll be at the show on the 4th.

Great show last night (if I do say so myself ). We (The Mad Maggies & Culann's Hounds) ROCKED the Casbah! But... I didn't see another kiltie--no XMTSers. I was hoping to meet a few unbifurcated brothers and see some swish going down on the dance floor. Ah well, one of these days.
