I remember seeing it raining on one side of the white line of a road, and walking along dry pavement on the other.
That was over 50 years ago now and it still outweirds just about everything since.
OK - it has to stop or start raining somewhere - but this was only a fairly straight road, England doesn't have dead straight roads - and the rain followed the white line around the curve.
