You should try Beamish stout instead, it's far better than Guinness and tastes better out of the can, but it's hard to get outside of Ireland. Those Corkonians don't like to share.

Actually, we do get the Beamish here in Chicago on a regular basis. One of my cousins always brings me a four-pack when he show up for Christmas Eve dinner. Problem there is that I'm busy cooking for twelve people at that point and I try to save the bevvy for later when I'm not juggling hot things and using pointy utensils.

I disagree. Beamish had a metallic taste to it. In the US, I prefer Murphy's.
