Tattoo question......

Putting the tattoo on the mirror is a good idea,but it mtght be a good idea to take it a little further and put the image on a few other things. Like computer screen saver or on the dashboard of your car. The thing will be on your body for the rest of your life and you will be looking at it all whenever you look at your limb. I've been doing this with the Image I've thinking about for well over three months. Haven't got the tat yet though. There is no formula to decide what to get though, nor should there be.

I have been knocking around the idea of getting a tattoo for years. I several designs in mind, I just can't decide which one I want. Four of the designs hark back to when I was in the Army:
(1) Expert Infantryman's Badge in full color
(2) 2nd Infantry Division Patch (full color)
(3) 82nd Airbourn Division patch (full color)
(4) Partrooper's Wings
(5) (Non military related) Kerr Clan Crest (Indigo)
(6) Names & dates of birth of my children

I have 2 tattoos. The first was an eagle, in black on my right upper arm. I got that one at the age of 18, shortly after graduating from Parris Island. The second, I got on my 44th birthday, a stylized Eagle Globe and Anchor on my left forearm. I don't regret either one. Obviously, quite a bit more thought went into the EGA. I wanted one for many years. My single enlistment in the Corps was arguably the most critical formative period of my life. I wear the symbol of the Corps with pride.

Get naked. Sit or stand in front of a mirror. Think back over your life. The "tattoo gods" will guide you as to placement and what design.

Imagine a tattoo on Homer Simpson. That's who I see when I look in the mirror. eeeeuuuuuuwwwwwww!
