    I always fancied being a "Louisiana Tiger Zouave, Col. Wheat commanding" My favourite all-time CSA regiment !

    Geaux Tigers !!!

    I always wondered who would have won if the Tigers (recruited from New Orleans docks and wharves) had met Wilson's Zouaves (6th New York, recruited from the Bowery and Hell's Kitchen - and no doubt Five Points) in a scrap ! I reckon the Tigers would sort them out !
