After living in the Sheridan Wyo. area for a couple of game seasons and running across out of staters who were inebriated and toting high power hunting rifles I donned as much orange as I could. We also lived in the west end of the state and never had any problems of that sort. I miss living there.
Do the Antelope still outnumber the states' population? They did when I lived there. Not pulling legs here they really did!

To keep this on topic I think the hunters orange camo kilt is a grand idea!

Iowa requires a full jacket or vest, just a hat is no longer enough (it was when I was a kid). And the blaze orange cannot be orange camo, must be solid orange.

Hunting 'round here in a kilt would get you hopelessly tangled up in a multi-flora rose bush to the extent you would really need a knife to get loose. (Go ahead, ask me how I know this ?).

I don't know about all that but I can guess it would be a bad day for another hunter to discover me in a tree stand. lol

I don't know that tartan. I prefer tartan kilts but I didn't know of any that are solid blaze orange with other colors added in.

Maine is very strict on the hunting regs and they have to in such a large state even the survival hand book in in blaze orange ( part of the required course for a license) Nothing but the required amount of blaze orange will do trust me even the MX and MTBs don it in season if they are smart.

Think very bright orange. In most states hunters (shooters) are required to wear a certain amount of this on their clothing so that they are visible to other hunters(shooters). Apparently some folks can't tell the difference between a human and a deer.
