I am sure there is a tutorial on putting up photos - I have a folder on Photobucket where I can put photos and then take the IMG, by copying and pasting, into a message here, and the photo appears.
Photobucket has been updated recently, so I can't find out how to do what I was doing, reducing the size of the photo so it took up less bandwidth, but I expect I will find it if I keep trying - though it is less important these days.
I do find that things which are useful these days become fiddled with to the point of exasperation - like phones and other little devices which now not only do their original function - if you can find it - but a dozen others - they also have a 500 page manual - written in incomprehensible language - to guide you to the function you used to get by turning it on.
My phone is one I got by saving Coca Cola ring pulls - it has an aerial - it doesn't unfold or slide or twist - the only puzzling thing is that is says NO instead of ON - but I can live with that.
Sorry for chiming in so late. There are many events to wear a kilt. The most authentic are highland games, other festivals are similar to fares where the games are not the main focus. Some, like the Ligonier Highland Games have a wonderful band competition. The Kansas City Highland Games are held for the competitors. They have professional and amateur athletes competing. Ren fares are a show, that is all. There are shows, demonstrations, and other things to do but it cannot be considered a Scottish Highland affair.

A day without killting is like a day without sunshine.
I thank everyone for your input. I have learned alot and know that there is so much more to learn. Thank you for having the patience to teach and guide.
