I had to read your post to my roommate. He just rolled his eyes and said "That sounds familiar."

Great story. Those are exactly the same types of questions I love to ask people in stores like that. Who knows, maybe if enough people ask often enough, they may start to carry something.

Cool story. My wife laughed and thought it was pretty funny too. Sounds like something I'd ask. Will there ever come a time when the answer to your question would be "well they are right over here in aisle 3"?

Go, have fun, don't work at, make it fun! Kilt them, for they know not, what they wear. Where am I now?

Hey, she tried. I was in a similar location and a shirt caught my attention. Now, I do not shop, and generally do not buy anything without the approval of my spouse. So I ask young clerk, "Would that shirt suit me?"

And she says, Well...most of our older gentlemen shop over in..

I missed the rest of the sentence

She realized what she had said, turned red & scampered off. Hell, I'm 50, not 100!

Sir, We are kindred spirits. Either that or we both have the same sick sense of humor.

Hilarious! But the sales associate (and your wife) handled it well.
