    Bucket list

    Hi all,

After doing the Big Easy for New Years it has inspired my wife & I to make a Bucket List.

While going through the net for ideas and duhs I came across the mention of Up Helly Aa. This seems to be a Viking festival. Any details on this?

I had also (here and on the net) came across Hogamany in Edinburgh. What's it really like?

    Thanks,
    Jim

There's a lot of info about it on the Visit Shetland site.

I've been once and it was a great and very fun time. A bit hectic but well worth it.

    1. Try and better the "around the world" record of 169 days set in the New York to Paris Race of 1908. The record still stands, by the way.
