18 years ago I also had the choice of staying in a corporate job or striking out on my own. When I made the decision to leave, many people I had worked with said "We have never seen you smile so much!" My freelance writing career allows me to dabble in the Celtic marketplace and while I don't expect FlamingoKilts to ever become my 100% avocation, it is a great feeling to provide custom goods and get thank-you notes from satisfied customers.
Yours is a great story, Josh, and I wish us both continued success!

Congratulations on taking control of your future. While working for yourself has its own set of headaches, at least they are your own!

Props to you Josh! Good to know others feel the same about the journey and not the destination.

From a new friend
Josh,
I'm really glad that you've found something that makes you happy and brings you joy in life. You're doing a great job at it, as well! I will cherish the new sporran and you'll eventually be hearing from me on some hose and perhaps some other purchases as well! Peace, brother!

Robert....you won't regret your purchase for an instant. It was actually on your recommendation that I went to look at Josh's gentlemen's hair sporrans...so I guess I should say "Merci beaucoup!"

Wow. I know the term has been used repeatedly, but this story really is inspiring! Thank you for taking the time to write it.
I love your site and have been drooling over the diced hose and hair sporrans. When funds allow, you will be getting an order from me. Not only because you have great products and prices, but because you're a credit to the profession.

You guys ought to see him in person. He's a real snappy dresser, too.
