Great pics all! (Kilted) musicians RULE!
While were at it, meet the family (well, most of them ;-):
Top L to R: Danelectro '56 Pro Ltd, G&L S-500, G&L Legacy, G&L ASAT, Heritage H-137
Bottom L to R: National Radio Tone, Yamaha FG-200, Lowden D-32, Larrivee OM-09, Larrivee Parlor, Gibson ES-135
I've had the Yamaha since 1973. It was my first acoustic. The Larrivee Parlor is my travel guitar. I've flown with it many times and have always been able to carry it on the plane. Lucky? You betcha! (Knock on wood.)
For those who don't know Heritage or G&L guitars: Heritage guitars are an offshoot of Gibson. Several Gibson old timers bought the original Kalamazoo, Michigan factory after Gibson moved operations to Nashville and started "The Heritage." They make some GREAT guitars. G&L was the last company owned by Leo Fender. G&L stands for George and Leo--George being George Fullerton, Leo's partner at Fender. USA made G&Ls are fine electric guitars with a fanatical following. I count myself one of the core G&L fanatics.
Lowdens were (and are again) made in Ireland by renowned luthier George Lowden. Amazing guitars! Unfortunately, they no longer make the D series dreadnoughts. They can be had, but you have to hunt for them. I LOVE mine!! (And it was indeed made in Ireland.)
Larrivees are the product of Canadian luthier Jean Larrivée. They are workhorses! The OM-09 was my stage acoustic before I got the Lowden.
Occasionally, I have to go totally unplugged with the band and that's when I use the National. Resonators are LOUD, weigh a ton and are fun to play. And if Delta Blues is your thing, they are the *****! I play Ska, Eastern Euorpean Gypsy, Cajun/Zydeco, Irish (Celtic)... on mine. Crazy!
I'm not a collector so they all get their share of stage time, and though they look fairly pristine in this photo they all have "mojo" on 'em.

Thanks! The tartan is Colquhoun Ancient.
The mandolin is a Michael Kelly Legacy FSE (acoustic/electric). And here's the rest of the gang:
I've mostly quit playing the guitar and have been focusing on the mandolin for about the last year.
