House of Edgar has a line of 18 ounce tartans in the military setts. See your favorite retailer, e.g. Scottish Tartans Museum (last section on that page--click "Check Availability List " for the TartanWeb search function).

Yes just today I was at my local retailer (RP Blandford & Son) and looked at the sample books and found the House of Edgar military stuff... it was just as I remembered, looking and feeling more like blanket cloth than kilt tartan. It comes in all the normal Scottish regimental tartans.
