Their prices certainly look extremely attractive compared with Stewart Christie and you are obviously happy with the fit and material. Did you go with the standard buttons? I can't say I like the blue regulation doublet with the rather garish silver piping - a bit OTT unless you are a piper. I don't have a regulation doublet but I do like the illustration from Stewart Christie's catalogue with the red waistcoat -

The coatee came with standard, silver coloured buttons, but of better quality than most. I've a set of silver buttons in the works and as soon as they arrive I'll swop 'em out.
Something that I should mention is that on their website MacKenzie Frain show the regulation doublet with six buttons on the front, exactly like a Prince Charlie coatee. I specified the traditional "three buttons to close" and that is how my jacket was delivered: three buttons on the right, below the bottom of the lapel, with three button holes on the opposite side.

Thanks for the first rate review, Scott. I've corresponded with MF in the past and hope to have them make something up for me in the not too distant future.
