    Our 1st Burns Supper

Our little group of three for our monthly kilt night has grown to six. So, we decided to have our very first Burns Supper. Admitedly, we are pretty ignorant of the proper proceedures. It was a pot luck at one members house. We had Hagus, someone read the address and some appropriate poetry. It was mostly a good excuss to kilt up and have a good time. We welcome anyone near little Rock to come join us.

    Well done!

4 years ago the Nor Cal Rabble gathered in good fellowship to give a nod to the poet that will nae be forgot. We had never done it before and weren't sure if what we were doing was "the right" way, but we had fun and I think Robert Burns would have heartily approved at our evening.

So "Guid on ya" for making the choice to have a Burns Night Supper.

I bet it was a great time

    Cheers

Absolutely splendid hose! Is your kilt Lochcarron's "Gold Holyrood" from their Heirloom collection?

I also think your choice of hose is great. Very eye catching.

Excellent. We did our first (on our own) last night also. Met at a close friend's house. She's from Edinburgh and we all had a great time of poetry, ancestral reminisence and, of course, Scotch.
