I never noticed that! How cool!
Also, I agree about mourning 10's loss. He is definitely my doctor (first episode I ever saw was the girl in the fireplace), and he did a fabulous job. It's been fun to go back and see how the other doctors did it and how he (and others) were influenced by predecessors.
anybody watch the Sarah Jane Chronicles or K-9? I've never seen either.

I've watched the Sarah Jane Adventures Season 1. I like it a lot. I tried Torchwood, but it has to much stuff I don't want to see. Sarah Jane is a lot more like Doctor Who than Torchwood, IMHO. I liked the writing, the acting, even the kids are decent actors I thought. I have not had a chance to see the K-9 show, but I doubt I'll watch it, as it is outside of Doctor Who.

The story behind the Torchwood/ Dr who anagram was the Russel T Davis was furious when a rough cut of the first episode of the new series (Rose) was leaked onto the net, so RTD insisted on all Dr Who master copies promo DVD etc being labeled as "Torchwood" to avoid interception by people desperate to have a preview of the new who during transit etc.

K-9 is actually a character (robot dog) from the Doctor Who series that makes a couple of occassional appearances on Sarah Jane...plus he also appeared in the episode arc from Doctor Who where Davros took the Earth and 26 other planets out of phase (wow...I sound like such a geek!)

I am very familiar with K-9. He has been one of my most favorite Doctor Who Characters for decades. I am referring to the K-9 show that is being or will be aired soon. It features K-9 Mark 1 "Regenerating", and starting a world of adventures sans any doctor who background.
