I'll have to work on the ghillies I've been considering, perhaps another sporran too. I have a bunch more canvas to play with and I was thinking about those rustic ghillies again this morning.
When is Ardenwood? Nervermind, I checked; that's a Scooby day for me. I know I said I was coming last year and didn't make it when Scooby decided he wanted to do something else. If Xena and Sinbad are going to be there he'll be waiting at the door in his kilt for me to take him there.

Well then...Xena and Sinbad don't get a say in what we do, so we'll be there!
Be well,

Richard Brown is a great guy. He made time to help me in Tartan Day presentations to my children's schools the last two years we lived in San Jose. His vast knowledge of Scottish/Celtic history (including the influences on the birth of the U.S.) is impressive.

Yes, he is. I like him a lot, and he's a level headed dude in amongst a whole lot of drama queens and princes. Note the eyeroll, here...not about Richard, but about some other folks.
ANYWAY...
I spent two hours this morning, re-pleating to get pleats the proper width and then sewing in the pleats with 6-8 stitches under the belt area where the stitches will be hidden. It's done. Will get pics in a day or two.
This took thirteen dollars and about five hours of work.
