D'you think it would look something like this?
The spirit of the Declaration of Arbroath (6 April 1320) abides today, defiantly resisting any tyranny that would disarm, disperse and despoil proud people of just morals, determined to keep the means of protecting their families and way of life close at hand.

Well, why not give it a try Ron, I have a few "kilts" which might not pass muster here on xmarks but are accepted as kilts by the general public.

Sounds like a lot of work to make. But give it a try anyway. Don't pay much attention to the closed-minded. After all the great kilt has to top!

Simply not liking something doesn't automatically make someone closed-minded. I rather dislike it when people equate the two. I can see how in today's "PC" world that might become confusing, but when did disagreement with an idea become such a bad thing?

When I first started reading this thread, I was thinking Catholic school jumpers as well. Personally, I would not give one a second glance. I wear kilts in places where a more dressy outfit is used, like a night out, or the office. I don't wear one when riding my bike or working in the garage.

Pushing the boundaries a little too much, or a good idea?
If I remember correctly, OFCJAX makes custom designed work kilts. I would suggest sending him a PM.
