If I really bust ***, I might be wearing a band kilt on StPD...but I doubt that will be the case, so I'll probably just wear my own kilt, if I have a reason to go out (ie concert). I don't need an excuse to drink!

    Removed upon request.
It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom -- for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself.

First time off work in a long time...

I will be kilted in Las Vegas the whole week of St Paddys Day. This will be my first vacation in I don't know how long, and the first chance to wear my first kilt (should be done by the end of February).

Planning to get my drink-on int:, and cut a rug and let what happens in Vegas, stay in Vegas

    I can't wait!!!

Of course I will! The guys and ladies in the office would be disappointed if I didn't.

    Cheers!

Absolutely! Just got a Irish National casual from USA Kilts. First kilt from them (it's awesome by the way), and I can't wait for St. Paddy's Day.

I'll wear my Guinness t-shirt to complete my outfit. :-)

It'll be very interesting walking into the Thai bar that I frequent. Good thing they have Guinness and Jameson.

    Sure enough!

Here's Irish pipers wearing dark green jackets and hose with saffron kilts. This colour of green is called "Archer Green" in the Scottish regiments and is quite dark, appearing black in some photos. But in person it's simply a very dark green, like British Racing Green.

    Ladies & Gentlemen of XMTS:

This thread has generated two reported posts as a result of two members deciding to disagree with reach other which inadvertently involved a third. If the thread had remained on topic without the need to bring the Irish troubles in we would have had no problems.

The moderators have decided that the only solution is to close this thread.
