    Kilting in the warm.

Since I recently posted a kilting in the cold pic, here is a pic of kilting in the warm. On the way home from Winterfest, Michele and I stopped at Longview Gardens, formerly a private estate of Pierre duPont. That's my new Wyvern Leatherworks sporran, hanging too low after walking literally for hours in the huge greenhouses. In spring summer and fall there is over 1000 acres of outdoor gardens as well. If you are in the neighborhood of Philadelphia, well worth the side trip.

Great look Geoff, its funny that this is kilting in the warm for you... I was just starting to work on what I will wear this weekend to a pub crawl in Jacksonville, FL and that to me is cold weather wear

    Now you're just showing off.

Still, cool pic. I become nostalgic for Balboa Park just looking at it.

I bet the outdoor gardens were pretty much awash with snow! We've had over 72" this year in this area (near Longwood Gardens).

    Excellent pics.
Geoff that big plant in the tropical house looks like it is about to swallow you up.
I see it rains in Florida too!

Great sporran. Donnie does excellent work.

Here is a link to Longwood Gardens. They really are worth a look. The evening illuminated fountain shows are great. They also have various musical shows in various venues throughout the year.

The look may be a bit deceiving, it's a cotton sweater. An little too warm for most of the greenhouses, but I had to get to the green house walking on paths with around a meter of snow on either side.

Glad you found a warm(er) spot. Snow almost gone in SW Missouri but cold and windy anyway.
