Assume your hat size was correct when ordered, that the "hat" wasn't the size it was supposed to be.
Thank you for posting this. One more reminder for me to stick with quality merchandise from trusted vendors - and to buy direct from makers, rather than middlemen, whenever possible.
You can have any two of price, quality, or service. Sounds like you only got one this time.
Poor middleman, can't help but have sympathy...his supplier left him high and dry with poor quality...now he's losing money rather than making money as he dreamed he would brokering things Scottish.
Sad situation who's root is seeking low price rather than quality at a fair price, which equals value.

DEN: Are you indicating you got bad service from glengarryhats.com (with an A not an e) if so I am very interested. There are numerous threads you can easily search in which folks have said that they received decent service and a good price. I am interested in hearing if you recieved any response from them at all. This is a little disappointing because I was considering the same purchase as your self. If my memory serves me correctly the one knock was that they took a few days to ship, they did not push things out the door right away. I will anxiously await your feedback.

My response to Seanachie: the Caubeen that I ordered, through glengarryhats.com, never arrived. Yes, I see on other posts that some folks have had good service and product from them. For me, no!
After ordering, I waited patiently for a response, like a week or more. So, I emailed a half dozen times...no response! I just wanted to see if they got my paymnet, and when I should expect the Caubeen. Again, no answer! I contacted Paypal, and a few days later I had a refund. I really didn't want a refund if they had the hat in stock. All I wanted was a resoponse. Maybe you'll have better luck!

This, I know, but apparently the vendor is unaware of this, as a check was sent to me as refund minus the PayPal fees....
All I ask is that if a vendor supplies an email address on a company website, indicates that PayPal is accepted and asks to use that email address for orders, is that they check/respond to email and that they know how to use PayPal.....
