Nearly there! The top half looks good for both occasions, although to dress down a tad take the tie off and undo the top button of the shirt and spread the shirt collar over the outside of the sweater. The bottom half is nearly there too, just raise the kilt a tad so that the bottom of the kilt is no lower than the center of the knee cap. I would actually prefer to see the kilt raised to the top of the knee cap, but perhaps that is asking too much for now. Oh and smile, laugh even! Good luck and have fun.

I agree with Jock here, and I think the outfit looks good colour-wise!
