Is Winter Park where the new Legoland is opening? I promised my son we would take him there next year or 2011. Since I will be kilted anyway, I might as well stop in.

No the new legoland is taking over an older park formerly known as Cypress Gardens. It is a little over an hour from Orlando.

So hopefully we can find the opening date and coordinate something.
Well, If anybody interested, we can meet for the England/Algeria game of the World Cup 2:30 pm. If you are, PM me. Kilts & jersey?

I might just be able to make that happen, now are we talking the one on I-Drive or the one closer to UCF, because when this thread started we had no location now suddenly we have two....

I've been so intent on following the World Cup, I completely missed this idea of a World Cup get-together. Drat.

Well looks like we get another chance to have that world cup get together, round of 16. Tomorrow at 230 at the tilted kilt, jersey's and kilts. Anyone up for it?

I agree with those who spoke of the Houston Tilted Kilt. Good food, good scenery and good service. We went this year before the Houston Highland Games and even the kids had a good time.

Any of the Florida rabble want to throw on their kilts and have a few casual pints at one of the tilted kilts here in Orlando in celebration of our Scottish brethren thumbing their noses at the English yet again, and keeping up with the tradition of wearing the highland attire.

With so many eager and able EYES watching, I hope we don't miss any of the Grand Openings!
In the mean time If any one is interested in having a get together just as an excuse to down a few good pints, lets plan something here in Central Florida!
