Hmm, would guess Hamish has a lot too. I have 22 pair of Lewis Kilt hose alone and probably another 30 pair of "standard" kilt hose and about 20 pair of "soccer sox/Sportkilt" type kilt hose and I'm not even a merchant...just an addicted buyer. And that ain't counting the ones I shrunk up to kid size and gave to the local bargain center last fall...
No clue how I wound up with so many pair...they sort of sneak up with color need, or bargain price at a games, and even some gifts from family who want to give me a gift I'll like and use.
Kinda afraid to go count them up....
Would maybe sell off some but, to me, always seemed sort of like selling off underwear - even if freshly washed.

This thread makes me think of the Bob & Doug McKenzie characters in Strange Brew. Are you a "hoser"? I might have ten pairs of hose, but won't be challenging Riverkilt or NorCalPiper anytime soon.

I have at least 50 pair, like Ron I wonder where they all came from, perhaps kilt hose multiply when you're not looking again that number is a guess and I'd say a low one, and this is as a buyer not a vendor. I do like the photo though.

I had four pairs! But I gave a pair away with the kilt I gave MrShoe. So now I only have three, and none as nice as yours.
I feel so ... inadequate.

Can I go ahead and declare my self King of the Hose (chuckle)?]
When will you have the stag head hose ready?

I can only wish that I had one or two of the diced hose that the king has
