Most of us have, at times, pushed "submit" sooner than we might have. In person, blunt speech is delivered in the context of tone of voice and personality... and all of that nuance is lost on a web forum or email where the words just sit there in black and white. Much of the writer's true intent can be lost. With that in mind, a good editorial pass through the text before posting can do wonders to head off any unintended offense.
Thanks for taking the time to consider the response of others and to offer your apology in such a public fashion.
best regards
Ken
