Sometimes we do our own kilt checks...

Once standing in the bow of a raft on the river the wind whipped just right at the same instant a friend in the back of the raft was taking a scenic picture. He got a scenic picture all right. That shot ciruclated widely. Fortunately, my copy died in a hard drive crash a while back.

Walking in downtown Albuquerque I passed over an updraft grate (who knew they had them in Albuquerque?) This one was in front of a hotel restaurant's windows full of diners. I know that my face was covered by my kilt so I have a good idea they got the question answered...just kept walking...what else is there to do.

Last summer an old girlfriend and her husband visited. Showed them around, took them up to the slot canyon where Navajos drive you three miles up a sand wash in their 4x4 trucks. They have plastic seat covers on the seats in the back of the truck. Going up a European lady had been looking and trying to find the English words to ask the question but we arrived before she could. After the tour I lingered and got back to the truck just as it was leaving. Was in such a hurry that I forgot to sweep my pleats before sitting down on the plastic seat covers that had been waiting in the Sun for an hour. I tea bagged the hot plastic and let out a yelp. The lady just laughed, she had her question answered...
