Fabulous news all--
I've just heard from Rex, he has been released from the hospital (we'll have to cancel that rescue mission--sorry Jock), and he is now in the comforts of his home
Happy happy day!!

Well now that is a bit of good news! Rest easy Rex - we don't want you to suffer any sort of relapse - well except for the escape committee that is...

Well Okaaay, cancel the Lear jet from Inverness airport, cancel Alex the pilot, cancel English Bloke the medic, cancel the catering team led by P1M, cancel the military genius Nervous Jock, cancel the team piper Highlander Daz, cancel the getaway driver Derek, cancel the "BRAIN" Hamish, cancel the team wardrobe department led by A Pleater, cancel the choir led by Trefor, Cancel the Canadian liaison officer MacMurdo, cancel my holiday. Well I don't know you just can't get a reliable patient these days. Gone are the days that a reliable patient would be bed-fast for three weeks for an ingrowing toe nail. Sheeesh!
Mind you the thought of Grant and that rubber chicken ricocheting about all over the place and the "Juggernaut" in the same ward did have mind boggling connotations! Earthquakes would have nothing on it!
Actually Rex I am delighted that things are looking up for you and your family. Take care.

What, no chance to chase the nurses around? Oh well, my wife probably wouldn't have liked that anyway.
Glad to hear you are back home, Rex. Now take it easy and get stronger. We all know that it takes about a week of recovery for every day you spend in the hospital.

Excellent news, and there's not much better than being back in your own bed -- other than finally being up from it! I hope the familiar surroundings ease and speed your full recovery.
