I'm taking advantage of the Burnett's & Struth Maple Leaf tartan special and getting a heavy weight casual kilt with third buckle. It was at the top of my short list anyway.
PS is that the Lochaber muted I see in your avatar, Bill? I'd love to see a picture of that kilt if I can.

Both of my brothers just got the same kilts; I think you'll be happy with your choice. Plus, there's always PV for your next one .

Yeah, I figure I'll wear this throughout the summer and see how it goes. If it's not too hot then i may not look to PV so closely. Like I say, I just got one of the few PV tartans I was looking for and its wool so I think I'm ahead of the game.

No, it is Galloway Green Muted by the House of Edgar.
Here's a couple of pics of Hamish's kilt in this tartan: http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/f...no-93-a-42757/

Just one more thought to add even though the OP made their decision. Some people have an allergy to wool, PV provides them with an alternative. I know of a few members on here who in the past have posted of having a wool allergy. If PV allows them to have a kilt in their tartan, it is as real of a kilt as a tank.

Thank you! I think sometimes PV is looked down upon by some as not being a REAL kilt because it is not wool.
