That is a nice looking belt. How big is the support panel in the back? Did he run it just a couple of inches either side of center, or is it longer (i.e. from hip-to-hip?)

The back panel is 2 3/4" wide and 13" long. It reaches about kidney to kidney.
Mr. Pope, thanks for the explanation and I DO have two leather and one chain sporran belt. When going casual I prefer the hangers and due to my lack of a rear end and the fact that the new belt covers the belt loops on the kilt, hangers are more practical.

Big Mikey you are truly a gentleman of substance, both figuratively and physically. And you wear the belt very well. Two obervations:
1. The belt looks really good, not to mention unique, and I like the sporran hangers, Kyle's objections to the contrary. Those of us with substance can often have an extra stomach between the belt and the sporran if we are not careful.
2. As always, Steve does the best work imagninable.

Now I need to find one of those buckles, as I have a three-inch strap that's in need of one...

Mikey,
The belt looks great. I'm bigger than I ought to be , but smaller than you, and a belt that wide would look ludicrous on me. On you it's splendid. definitely cool when even your belt is bespoke!
