Jacket rental in Southern Ontario?

Greetings, kilted newbie here. I'm getting married and I'm looking to outfit myself and my best man. I'm an hour west of Toronto, and I've found a few rental shops in the area, but they only rent Prince Charlie jackets. I was hoping for something less formal...probably a black Argyle.

I'm happy to buy one set of everything, but not two! So, I'm looking for suggestions.

Is there anywhere that rents Argyle jackets?

Alternately, I was thinking of just sticking him with a vest and no jacket.

I too have had the same problem. I have asked around, and most establishments only rent either Price Charlie's, or an informal Ghille shirt package. The ones I can think of to try would be The Wee Tartan Shop in Port Perry, or possibly Burnetts and Struth in Barrie. They are all great people, and are very quick to respond to emails. I would try giving them a shot.

I know for a fact that Caringorm Scottish Imports (formerly Hector Russell) do indeed rent Argyll jackets, I bought one of their ex rentals a few years ago here is what it looks like.

We do not rent out Argyll Jackets only Prince Charlie Jackets. We do however have some Argyll Jackets on sale in our sales loft.
