From where can I order 1" and 1¼" leather straps and buckles?

    Hi fellow kiltmakers!

I just finished making my first kilt and found all the needed supplies except a good source for the leather straps and buckles. I was able to get ¾" straps and matching buckles from Tartantown in Coquitlam, B.C., but I really wanted larger ones.

Does anyone have a mail-order source for 1" and/or 1¼" straps and buckles?

I'd love to know so that I can have everything ready for my next kilt in the fall.

    Thanks,

    ***Amble*****

Many of us who make kilts for a living order our straps and buckles from one of two or three places.

For mail order may I suggest you contact either one of our advertisers or Kiltmakers or try

    Highlandxpress.com

    Here is a direct link.
