    Celtic Knot Kilt Hose

My birthday was a couple of days ago, and my wife has been working on a knitted gift for me.

She's been working on a new design for the museum's "Royal Cuff" hose line, and this spring we are adding the "Celtic Knot" design. My new hose will be the prototype.

She just finished them last night, and I plan on wearing them today. Yes, I will take pictures!

In the meantime, here is a photo I took a few days ago when she just had the one complete.

I'm already loving the pattern, and I think it should prove popular!

Very nice! Impeccable timing, Matt; I'm in the market for some unique hose for my impending IoS tank. I'll keep an 'ear' out for when these hose are available and take a pair or 2 off your hands.

    Those are some snazzy cuffs.

Are they sewn on over top of the factory cuffs, or do you cut the factory cuffs off and sew the new ones on?

When given a choice, most people will choose.

We actually get the machine knit socks direct from Hawick with no cuffs on them. Then these hand knit cuffs and sewn by hand onto the sock base.

Well, I enjoyed wearing these puppies all day today, and they certainly got compliments from the other folks at work. I had my wife snap a few pictures this afternoon when I got home.

I am inspired. Now I have to knit some of those (I would buy them if I had the cash but young guys with very little money and more time, gotta DIY.)

Very nice. I love the stuff that the Scottish Tartan Museum is putting out. I've only ordered once from them but am fast becoming a fan!
