sizing a kilt
We may need to temporarily resize my husband's kilt to fit our grandson for his graduation. Any hints?

Is it too big, too small, too short, too long? More information is needed before we can offer any suggestions.

You are right,, you need more info. it is too large around the waist at least, not sure if it is around the hips.
But I think the length is ok.

If it's too big in in the waist by up to an inch or two, the simple fix is usually to move the buckles back until it fits. Almost any competent tailor can do this without having to take the kilt apart. Barbra T, who is a member of this forum has been known to let out a kilt up to 5 (five) inches.
