this was the first thing that came to mind when I read Todd's post.
Having one time belonged to S.A.M.S. (due to finances I've had to cut way back on 99.9% of my affiliations/memberships) I know that there are any number of ex-service Brits & Commonwealth members in S.A.M.S., and I'm sure the organization would be more than happy to assist you.
