Sandy, interesting photo's, the 1st a real snapshot in times, would that be the 1940's by any chance, just going by the gentlemans clothing and cars in the background, I prefer a family photo to have cles as to the era in which it was taken

I think the photo was taken around 1936-37, based on the fact that my uncle was born in 1932. He looks 4 or 5 in the pic, I would say. My grandfather certainly looks dressed in late 1930's style, although my grandmother's choice of footwear leaves me scratching my head!
