To give us all a change from the military pics, here is a photo of my grandparents and one of my uncles.

Sandy, interesting photo's, the 1st a real snapshot in times, would that be the 1940's by any chance, just going by the gentlemans clothing and cars in the background, I prefer a family photo to have cles as to the era in which it was taken

I think the photo was taken around 1936-37, based on the fact that my uncle was born in 1932. He looks 4 or 5 in the pic, I would say. My grandfather certainly looks dressed in late 1930's style, although my grandmother's choice of footwear leaves me scratching my head!

Looking in my late grandfather's desk over the weekend, I came across these pictures of my father:
