Hmmm...where is Jock Scot to say "In the Highlands we really don't worry much about matching!"

To my American sensibility, though, I think those hose will look splendid with your Black Watch kilt.

"Now, Brian," Jock says with his English accent, "don't get all wound up about this matching business."
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…

LOL, Ted, the more I am here the more I agree that the whole matching business - with Highland attire, at least - is highly overrated.

I'm also guessing that Jock would address me in a Scottish, rather than an English, accent

    Regards,

    Brian

Unless that fight Jock had with the tree changed it, Brian, I'm sticking with English accent.

Gosh the tree! How could I forget that! Brian, Ted has the advantage over you------we have spoken on the telephone. The accent is English, sorry.

No worries, Jock. I hope I can be forgiven for thinking someone residing where you do, and who seems to have deep roots there, would speak with a Scots accent rather than an English one. In any event, I think most of my compatriots wouldn't know the difference, nor would they care *sigh*.

    Regards,

    Brian
