eBay Leather kilt by movieleatherjacket?

SO, I was was sorely tempted by the 'nappa leather kilt' listed on eBay until I searched here and found the thread Canuck started in February of '09. It seems that seller is still offering product, and with a product image that looks borrowed.

However, somebody 'movieleatherjacket' has much more believable watermarked images with their offering, here.

Does anyone have direct knowledge of this product and/or seller? I got a leather jones that's squeaking in my brain...

ive never dealt with them but the feedback looks pretty bad,
ive always avoided anyone with a feedback lower than 99% its seems the seller has some postal issues and anyone from Pakistan that claims to be in the states is one to definitely avoid

I am not a leather expert by any stretch of the imagination, but what I DO know I've learned from years as a consumer who has bought a fair share of leather goods.

One thing I learned about leather goods coming from Pakistan (as a general rule) is that it tends to be very heavy, quite rough and stiff, and they REEK! The tanning process they use over there makes leather goods very pungent for a very, very long time, to the point that the garments have to be isolated and not kept in a closet with other clothes, unless you want your entire wardrobe smelling like a saddlery and tack shop! For that, I have an AWESOME pair of motorcycle chaps from Pakistan, and a not so awesome leather vest. They use the same leather, so wearing the vest is like wrapping yourself in a cardboard tube it's that stiff. The freakin' vest stands up by iteslf on the floor.

As for service, reliability, etc... If you understand that you are dealing with a potentially volatile corner of the world, most of the Pakistani companies I've ever dealt with (about 5 or 6) have been really good. If there is a glitch, good chance it's due to factors that are out of their immediate control (like the Taliban blowing up their shop or something)... Again, with the cheap price comes some degree of risk.

The product on EBay actually looks really cool! I wish I had the ¥¥ to afford it. 96.9% positive feedback out of 1449 reviews still seems fairly decent, considering where these goods are coming from.

That looks like a Union Kilt. You can get that on their website. I have one of there Camo kilts, which is slim fitting btw.
