I'm wanting to order from B.Black, as my regular supplier has sold his last yard of Hymo (to me) and won't be able to get any more for a while... But I don't quite understand the web shop. Anyone with experience able to answer these questions?
- how do I know what the measuring unit is? It says $9.95, is that per yard? Other webshops usually sell fabric by the half yard or half meter...
- what kind of shipping do they use?

Heming, I'll answer as best as I can, that way I can feel useful around here. It says 74 inches and if I remember correctly, at least 36 inches wide. It seemed like a very large piece of fabric when I was cutting it. I used part of mine up, so it's hard to remember.
I have no idea what kind of shipping they would use for you over there.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

Oh, so it's $9.95 for a piece of hymo, not yardage at all? If I'm less cr@p at inches than I think, 74 inches would be ... 2 yards, which is just short of two meters.
Right?

Ok, I remember. It is as if the bolt is about two yards wide, and they roll it off at a yard of that per unit.
I bought two units, so I had a piece of fabric that was two yards buy about two yards.
So the nine dollars would be for a piece of fabric that is about one meter by two meters.
I hope that helps.
* It looks like it would be, 188 cm by 91 cm If I did it right. 2.54 cm= 1 Inch, and I rounded off.

Fabric price is typically quoted by the linear yard. How much you get depends on the width of the fabric. If it's 74" wide, and you order a yard, you get a piece 36" parallel to the warp and 74" wide. If it's 23" wide, you get a piece 36"long parallel to the warp and 23" wide.
