Do you enjoy forums?
Ladies and Gentlemen,
Many of you already know, but for our new members and those who may not have heard, there is yet another forum for you to enjoy.
Glen (McMurdo) and his wife Catherine have started their own forum
I know you will see many familiar faces and see many similar topics and discussions.
To check out what Glen and Catherine have built you can visit;
http://thescotsforum.com/
For myself, and on behalf of the staff of X Marks, I offer a hand in friendship and wish Glen and Catherine much luck in their new endeavor.

Thanks Steve.
This would explain some of the influx of membership since yesterday. True, we discuss some of the same things here as there, but the Scotsforum is not focused on the kilt and instead is directed at all of Scottish culture. So it's a happy thing to see some camaraderie.

Thanks for the vote of confidence, Steve! It's great to see such lively membership and discussion about wider aspects of Scottish culture that may slip through the cracks in other cases.

Good spirit for sure.
Some of the topics beyond the scope of X Marks have drawn a LOT of posts and by folks that may surprise you.

This is an excellent thread.
I regard both Steve and Glen as friends, having been hosted by them when I have visited their respective parts of Canada, so I definitely want to be able to enjoy both forums without perceiving them as rivals.
I would agree there is a need for both forums as the focus of each is different.

Magnificent! Hats off to Steve and Glen and a hearty hope to see more "hands across sea" in the kilt forum world.
Glen, I'll be by to register in a bit. Steve, I'll pester you later

Good luck to you all over there, Glen.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…
